Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 9, 2026

These terms form an agreement between you and JobSortie. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use JobSortie.

1. The service

JobSortie is a personalized job discovery service. We collect open roles from public sources, rank them against the profile and preferences you provide, and present them to you. JobSortie is not an employer, recruiter, or employment agency, and we do not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You agree to give accurate information, keep your password confidential, and remain responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of your resume, links, and other content you upload. You grant JobSortie a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service for you, including parsing your resume and generating match scores. You confirm you have the right to share everything you upload.

4. Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-export listings or other users' data.
  • Do not misrepresent your identity, experience, or work authorization.
  • Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the service.
  • Do not resell or redistribute JobSortie content without our written permission.
  • Do not use JobSortie for anything unlawful, discriminatory, or abusive.

5. Job listings and third parties

Listings originate from employers, job boards, and other third-party sources. We do not verify their accuracy, availability, compensation, or legitimacy. Applying to a role may take you to a third party's site, governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Use your judgment and never send money or sensitive financial details to a prospective employer.

6. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans renew automatically for the period you selected until cancelled. Fees are charged in advance and, except where the law requires otherwise, are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with reasonable notice before your next renewal.

7. Intellectual property

JobSortie, including its software, design, matching logic, and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for your own job search.

8. Termination

You may stop using JobSortie and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or if we need to protect the service or other users.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that matches will be accurate, complete, or suitable, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, JobSortie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, income, or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the product or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use JobSortie after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules, and disputes will be heard in the courts located in New York County, New York. Questions: legal@jobsorty.com.
